Senior Account Executive or Account Executive (San Francisco, CA)

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned quarterly and annual sales objectives
  • Be responsible for prospecting, acquiring and solidifying client relationships
  • Focus on developing and cultivating new and existing client relationships by understanding client business issues and recommending an appropriate research-enabled solution
  • Generate incremental business within defined sales territory
  • Learn and fully comprehend all of the Company's products and services
  • Develop an understanding of current research processes and procedures
  • Be responsible for consulting with clients on research design, provide insightful proposals and deliver strategic sales presentations either directly or with other team members
  • Take a team leadership role and serve as a manager/mentor to the Account Executive(s) or Account Manager (s) within sector, if necessary
  • Work with the Project Managers and Analytical Research Managers to execute project specifications and deliver superior quality research results to clients

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in business, marketing, marketing research or relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a sales, account management or client service capacity
  • Recent strong sales experience necessary
  • Experience with quantitative (particularly online) research executed within a full-service, custom service model a plus
  • Able to meet with prospective clients, ability to travel as needed.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good people person
  • Expertise with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

In your role of Senior Marketing Science Analyst you will be an integral member of the InsightExpress team as we grow the Company and bring the power, speed, and benefits of online research to the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • The ability to work independently setting up new projects, performing basic Custom multivariate analyses and performing analysis on multivariate components of Branded research solutions.
  • Work with direction on complex, custom analysis projects.
  • Assist in developing techniques, standards and templates for both productized and custom analytic solutions.
  • Maintain the high standards of the InsightExpress marketing science department, performing all specified checks and protocols to project level work.
  • Provide verbal and written assistance to other MRTeam members on the interpretation and application of marketing science results on a project by project basis.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in a Marketing Sciences role or 4 years in a Marketing Research role that is quantitative and analytic in nature.
  • A Masters Degree in Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Marketing Research or Sociology. Those with degrees in the more applied disciplines should also have a strong focus in the quantitative, statistical methods practiced in their disciplines.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and serve internal clients with courtesy and professionalism. Willingness to communicate with end clients in order to support other IX team members.

Responsibilities

The Junior Analyst is an entry level position that offers vast opportunities for advanced learning and rapid career growth. The Junior Analyst will assist the Market Research Managers in providing clients with high quality and timely analysis and interpretation of survey data obtained through InsightExpress quantitative research product offerings, formulating conclusions and offering actionable recommendations via written reports and web-based or in-person presentations. Furthermore, the Junior Analyst will participate actively in the research design process to ensure that all analytical objectives are addressed and that the appropriate research tools are identified and efficiently utilized. The Junior Analyst is also responsible for quality control, to ascertain that all facets of the research conducted conform to industry best practice and InsightExpress own strict standards and guidelines.
